Appendix C - Extracting the Cireson Control Center Installation Files

Prior to version 3.0.4 of the Cireson Control Center, the installation files consisted of a .ZIP file that needed to be unblocked and extracted before the Installer could be run. In version 3.0.4 and later, the Control Center Installer is now a signed, self-extracting .ZIP file which does not need to be manually unblocked and extracted.

If you are installing version 3.0.4 (or later) of the Control Center, you should download the Control Center as detailed in the "Downloading the Cireson Control Center " section, and then install the Control Center as detailed in the "Running the Control Center Installer" section.

If you are want to install a version of the Control Center prior to version 3.0.4, use the following process to unblock and extract the installation files:

  1. Right-click on the Cireson True Control Center x.x.x Setup.zip file (where x.x.x is the version number), and select Properties

  1. On the Cireson True Control Center x.x.x Setup Properties dialog box, click Unblock then click OK.

  1. Right-click the Cireson True Control Center x.x.x Setup.zip file and select Extract All

  1. On the Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders dialog box, click Extract to extract the files to the specified location. If you wish to extract the files to a different location, either type the path in the Files will be extracted to this folder field, or click Browse to browse to the required location.

The progress dialog box will be displayed as the files are extracted.

Once the extraction process has completed, the folder specified as the destination will be opened automatically showing the extracted files.

This completes the process to extract the Control Center Installation files in versions prior to v3.0.4.

You can now install the Control Center as detailed in the "Running the Control Center Installer" section.
